Every saber sold at Shadow’s Edge is crafted to endure, whether it rests in a collector’s vault or clashes in the hands of a duelist. While we aim for perfection in every piece, we recognise there may be rare times when issues arise. This policy sets out how returns and refunds are handled.
Returns & Refunds Policy
We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unused, in its original packaging, and with proof of purchase or receipt.
Returned items must include all original components, accessories, packaging, manuals, and any items supplied with the product. Returns missing parts may be refused or partially refunded to reflect the reduced resale value.

Customers are responsible for the cost of return shipping. All returns must be sent using a tracked delivery service. We strongly recommend retaining your proof of postage and tracking information.
Approved change-of-mind returns are subject to a 5% handling and administration fee to cover merchant processing and administrative costs.
Shadow’s Edge Sabers is not responsible for items lost or damaged during return transit. The customer is responsible for ensuring the item reaches us safely and must pursue any claim directly with the shipping carrier if a parcel is lost or delayed.
Items sent back without first requesting return authorisation will not be accepted.
Returns requested outside the 30-day return window may be refused, unless required under applicable consumer protection law.

Damages and Issues
Please inspect your order upon arrival and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged, or if you receive the wrong item so that we can evaluate the issue and resolve it as quickly as possible.
Non-Returnable Items
We cannot accept returns for:
• Custom or personalised products
• Signed or autographed items
• Items that have been used, modified, or damaged after delivery
• Sale or clearance items
• Gift cards
Signed or autographed items are considered final sale due to their collectible nature and the potential for damage, alteration, or authenticity concerns once delivered.
If you are unsure whether your item is eligible for return, please contact us before sending it back.
Used Items & Wear
Products that show signs of use, wear, or damage after delivery are not eligible for return or refund.
This includes but is not limited to:
• Scratches or marks on the hilt or blade
• Damage caused through duelling or impact
• Wear to electronics or internal components caused by use
• Missing parts, accessories, packaging, or documentation originally included with the item
All returned items are inspected upon arrival. If an item is found to have been used, damaged, or missing components after delivery, the return may be refused or a partial refund may be issued to reflect the reduced resale value.
Electronic Components
Lightsabers contain sensitive electronic components. Returns will not be accepted for issues caused by:
• Improper charging
• Use of an incorrect charger
• Water or liquid damage
• Opening, modifying, or tampering with internal electronics
Customers must follow all charging and care instructions provided with the product.
Electrical Components Disclaimer
Lightsabers contain electronic components including batteries, charging ports, soundboards, and LED systems. While all products are tested prior to dispatch, customers must ensure that the product is used, charged, and stored according to the instructions provided.
Shadow’s Edge Sabers shall not be held responsible for damage, malfunction, injury, or loss resulting from misuse, improper charging, use of incompatible chargers, modification, or unauthorised repair of electronic components.
Customers should only use the recommended charging equipment and voltage specifications supplied with the product.
Blade Durability & Dueling Disclaimer
Lightsaber blades are designed for display, cosplay, and light to moderate duelling depending on the model purchased. While blades are manufactured to be durable, no blade is indestructible.
Damage resulting from heavy duelling, repeated impact, improper use, or striking hard surfaces is considered normal wear and is not covered under returns or refunds.
Customers assume responsibility for the safe and appropriate use of the product, and Shadow’s Edge Sabers cannot guarantee blade durability under all conditions of use.
If a blade becomes damaged due to impact or use, replacement blades may be purchased separately.
Incorrect Address / Uncollected Parcels
If an order is returned to us due to:
• An incorrect shipping address provided by the customer, or
• The parcel being uncollected from the courier or postal service
the customer will be responsible for any additional shipping costs required to resend the order.
Delivery Responsibility
Once an order has been successfully delivered to the address provided by the customer and confirmed by the courier or postal service, responsibility for the item transfers to the customer.
Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you receive the item you want is to return the item you have (once approved) and place a new order separately.
European Union 14-Day Cooling Off Period
If your order is delivered within the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days of delivery, for any reason and without justification, in accordance with EU consumer regulations.
To qualify for this right:
• The item must be unused
• It must be returned in original packaging
• Proof of purchase must be provided
Customers remain responsible for return shipping costs, and returns must be sent using a tracked service.
Refunds
We will notify you once we have received and inspected your return and inform you whether the refund has been approved.
If approved, your refund will be issued to your original payment method within 10 business days. Please note that banks or payment providers may take additional time to process the refund.
