Terms & Conditions — Shadow’s Edge Sabers

Welcome to Shadow’s Edge Sabers (“Shadow’s Edge,” “we,” “us,” “our”). These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our website, products, and related services (collectively, the “Services”). By visiting our site or placing an order, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.

2) Eligibility & Accounts

  • You must be the age of majority where you live, or have consent from a parent/guardian for use by a minor.

  • If you create an account, keep your credentials secure and your details accurate. You are responsible for all activity under your account.

3) Ordering & Contract Formation

  • Adding items to your cart does not guarantee availability.

  • Your order is an offer to buy. We accept only when we confirm dispatch (or otherwise explicitly accept).

  • We may decline or cancel orders, including suspected fraud, pricing errors, or stock issues.

  • Quantities may be limited per customer, household, or address.

4) Pricing, Taxes & Promotions

  • Prices and availability may change without notice.

  • Taxes, duties, and shipping fees (if any) are displayed at checkout.

  • Where DDP (Delivery Duty Paid) shipping is available, import costs are included.

  • Promotions and discount codes are time-limited and subject to conditions.

5) Shipping, Risk & Title

  • Dispatch timelines are estimates, not guarantees.

  • Risk of loss transfers once the order is delivered to your address.

  • Title passes once full payment and dispatch are completed.

  • Some sabers ship directly from partner workshops (drop-ship); lead times will be shown.

6) Pre-Orders & Lead Times

  • Pre-orders reserve stock but delivery dates may shift.

  • We will notify you of significant changes to estimated dispatch dates.

7) Product Use, Safety & Care

  • Sabers are designed for display, cosplay, or light-to-moderate dueling, unless otherwise specified.

  • ⚠️ Always charge with a 5V 1A max charger. Higher outputs may damage electronics and void warranty.

  • Sabers should be handled responsibly; keep away from young children.

8) Returns, Exchanges & Refunds

  • Standard returns are accepted within 30 days of delivery, subject to the Returns Policy.

  • Custom builds, Signature Editions, and unique commissions are non-returnable once production begins.

  • Customers are responsible for return shipping unless the item is faulty or incorrect.

9) Order Cancellations, Refusals & Exchanges

  • Orders cancelled, refused at delivery, or exchanged after purchase will incur a 5% deduction to cover non-refundable merchant and processing fees.

  • For international orders: if you refuse import duties/taxes and the item is returned, the original shipping cost will also be deducted from your refund.

  • Shipping costs are non-refundable in such cases.

  • Once a parcel has been confirmed as delivered (e.g., marked delivered or signed for), Shadow’s Edge Sabers is no longer responsible for loss, theft, or damage.
    ⚠️ To protect your order, we recommend using a secure delivery address and ensuring someone is available to receive the parcel.

10) Accuracy of Content & Availability

  • Specs, images, and colours may vary slightly from batch to batch.

  • We reserve the right to correct errors, update information, or cancel orders where necessary.

11) Intellectual Property

All content, product names, branding, and site materials belong to Shadow’s Edge Sabers or our licensors. You may not reproduce or use our content without permission.

12) User Content & Reviews

By submitting reviews or other content, you grant us a perpetual, royalty-free licence to use, reproduce, and display that content in any medium. You are responsible for ensuring your submissions do not infringe third-party rights.

13) Acceptable Use

You must not use the Services to:

  • Violate laws or infringe IP rights

  • Spread malware, spam, or malicious code

  • Collect data without consent

  • Impersonate others

  • Abuse, harass, or discriminate against others

Breaches may result in suspension or termination of access.

14) Third-Party Services

We use trusted providers such as Shopify, couriers, and payment processors. Use of these services may be subject to their terms.

15) Disclaimers

The Services and products are provided “as is” and “as available.” We make no guarantee that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or meet your expectations.

16) Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Shadow’s Edge Sabers is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages (including lost profits, data, or replacement costs). Where limitation is not permitted, liability is capped at the purchase price of the affected product(s).

17) Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Shadow’s Edge Sabers and affiliates against claims or expenses arising from your misuse of the Services or breach of these Terms.

18) Termination

We may suspend or terminate access at any time if these Terms are breached. Sections relating to liability, IP, and indemnity survive termination.

19) Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Kingdom. UK courts (including Northern Ireland courts where applicable) have jurisdiction over disputes.

20) Entire Agreement & Updates

These Terms, together with our Privacy, Shipping, and Returns policies, make up the entire agreement.
We may update these Terms by posting a new version with a revised “Last updated” date. Continued use of the Services after changes become effective constitutes acceptance.
